After an 18-month internship/residency at Hiawatha, Kevin Osell was sent out with a team in October 2015 to plant Center Church in Fridley, MN. Fridley is a spiritually and ethnically diverse context. DAVE & ANGIE ZIEL / SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA
The Ziel’s vision and prayer is to develop, empower, and release leaders in the Latin American Church. They primarily invest their time in three ministries in which they seek to accomplish this goal. In Faro de Esperanza Church, they preach, teach English, music, computer and cooking classes for the community, lead worship, teach Sunday school and lead a Bible study. As a part of the Nexus street ministry, they befriend people in prostitution. With ProMETA, they seek to broaden the already worldwide impact of this Spanish-speaking online seminary. DENNY & NICOLE DEBRUYN / BERLIN, GERMANY
The deBruyns are serving as missionaries in Berlin, Germany with ReachGlobal. They are working alongside German Partners in Berlin to plant new churches and launch 100 Gospel Initiatives in areas of the city that currently have no gospel influence. Their focus is disciple-making with families and individuals and serving churches in Berlin. TRENT & TARA SCHALLER / RENNES, FRANCE
The Schallers serve with Cru in France, where 99% do not know Christ. Trent provides information technology and communications in Cru’s national office. Tara, Lydia, and Rachel share the gospel with the families in their neighborhood. They also work with local churches to facilitate cooperative outreaches in the city of Rennes. They often have the privilege of being the first Christ followers that people there meet. Pray for them! trentandtara.com
